Father and son share knowledge that will help businesses in a slowing economy.

Back in the ’90s, Bob Sommers owned and operated one of the largest customer service companies in the country. Sommers Communication was a thriving business in Atlanta that conducted thousands of workshops that helped many satisfied clients to grow their businesses through superior customer service and effective marketing.

After realizing substantial success, Sommers and his family moved to Maui. At four years old, Sommers’ son, Josh, began working with computers and became a successful computer instructor at the ripe old age of 19. Bob combined Josh’s technological skills with his own marketing knowledge to develop workshops that teach people how to promote their businesses through Internet marketing.

In the advent of a recession, smart marketing is paramount for continued business success. Economic stagnation presents the perfect opportunity to hone in on marketing efforts to develop more business. While competitors are set adrift in turbulent times, smart Internet marketers will keep afloat and sail to success.

Bob and Josh Sommers make a witty father-son team that leaves you feeling rather entertained after their workshop. “He has so much energy, patience and marketing experience that I enjoy every day I get to work with him,” said Josh, referring to his father. “There is never a dull moment!”

Because the Internet offers free marketing techniques, utilizing Sommers’ strategies require only an investment of time. “As things slow down, it’s a fantastic time to learn how to promote your business,” said Bob. While most business operators flounder under the pressure of a recession, the smart ones take the time to learn how to expose their products or services in the ever-growing Internet arena. “You don’t have to spend money to market products wisely,” he said. “All you need is time to expose your business in new and unheard of markets.”

By building relationships with experts in the field, Bob was able to build an innovative marketing business. He began podcasting in 2003. In podcasting, radio shows are broadcasted on an Internet site. It represents one of the easy and effective strategies that can be learned at one of Sommers’ interactive workshops.

“I enjoy taking technical concepts and making them easy to understand,” said Josh. “It’s fun to watch people who have no idea how to get visitors to their Website leave the program with a look of confidence and determination. But the most rewarding part is when they get back to us to tell us how they were able to get thousands of visitors to their Website using the ideas we shared in the workshop. That’s what I enjoy the most.”

The Sommers’ brilliant workshops offer a myriad of cost-effective ways to drive traffic to your Website. The results are sometimes staggering. “I was averaging less than three visitors per day before attending your workshop,” said Jerome Kellner, author of The Maui Diet. “After applying just one Internet marketing technique, I was able to get over 800 highly targeted visitors to my site in 24 hours. Wow!”

Internet marketing has become all the rage. Even The New York Times has added a blog on its Website that incorporates the subject of online marketing. CNN also offers snippets of wisdom to help promote business via the Internet.

“I recouped the cost of the workshop six times over in less than five days,” said Rick Pounds, a Maui resident. “Please, stop teaching this stuff before my competitors find out what I’m doing. I beg you!”
