The first question new members ask Josh and I when they join Recognized Expert is, “Where do I begin?” What they mean to ask of course is, “Where do I begin the process of building a business on the Internet that’s going to earn me money?”

The answer to the question is, “That depends.” It depends on if you want to earn money selling your own product or service or if you want to sell a product or service that belongs to someone else.

The easiest thing to do is to sell a product or service that belongs to someone else. It’s known as affiliate marketing. If you go that route, you can build your business quickly, without the hassle of having to create your own product or supply a service.

Better yet, you can create your Internet business without the time and expense of having to build a website, write sales copy or set up a merchant account.

Go out and purchase the book Affiliate Millions: Make a Fortune using Search Marketing on Google and Beyond by Anthony Borelli and Greg Holden. In doing so, you will learn how to earn a living on the Internet without making a huge investment in time or money.

The second, and most important thing you will learn, is how to promote your product or service by watching what works for other people. This is smart marketing.
