Earlier I shared what didn't and what did work in my recent marketing campaign for a health program on Maui. As I shared in Part I, what got us zero results was a website, flyers, business cards, ads, articles, radio PSA's, etc.

Two things worked, working in combination -- presenting information sessions about the program. Speaking before an audience. A woman sent all the people to the information sessions, by talking to them.

I've been doing a marketing project on Maui for past the past few weeks. Want to share what I've learned

The campaign is for a health improvement program; we're selling a service, a program.

Marketing included:

A website built using Weebly, following The Recognized Expert's videos on how to do that. Thanks, Bob and Josh of TRE; training is remarkable.
Site has a blog, which I called Amazing Health, because I never call a blog a blog.

Which would you prefer as a promotional tool—twelve advertisements or one article about your business?

I once wrote a story about a Realtor who was a top gun in that business at the time. The story focused on what he did that placed him above his peers. The result was a newsy article with photos of the Realtor in his office, at home, etc.We ran into each other months after the article was published.
