The Art of Woo. What an interesting title for a book about influence and persuasion. According to author Richard Shell, Woo is an acronym for Winning Others Over and that is exactly what he does better than anyone else on the planet.

The Art of Woo is about using strategic persuasion skills to sell your ideas. Listen to my interview with Richard Shell and discover the 4-steps of Woo and how to use them to win others over to your way of thinking. Richard even discloses the 5 most difficult barriers to wooing others and how to deal with them effectively.

Richard was one of the most charming people I've ever interviewed. He's a great storyteller and an expert on the subject of persuasion and influence. Before the show Richard told me that reading, "Influence, the Art of Persuasion" by Robert Cialdini was a turning point in his career ... as it was in mine.

This is the only show I can remember doing where I let my guest run with the microphone ... and you'll understand why when you hear Richard tell his story.

I would encourage you to put, The Art of Woo at the top of your reading list. It's a fun read filled with historical characters that bring each step of Woo to life. Two thumbs up.

I would also like to encourage you to leave your feedback on The Art of Woo for others to read.
