David Fisher is the Director for the Small Business Development Center on Maui. He has a business degree from NYU and has been a business consultant for almost 30 years.

When I first discovered the Small Business Development Center on Maui and met David Fisher, I thought I was in marketing heaven. Here was a brilliant business executive living in my back yard, who was willing to make himself available to help me get a business loan, market my service, find investors, connect me with potential customers and much, much more. And best of all ... his service was free!

I'm sure you have a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in or near your community. And in my humble opinion, they are the most helpful and overlooked business resources on the planet. That is why I want you to run, not walk, to your nearest SBDC and find your David Fisher. You will be overwhelmed at what the SBDC can do for your business.

Aloha Roxie! I look forward to meeting you. As you can imagine we got a lot of people visiting Maui curious about doing a business here. Given our scare resource (and the requirements of the SBA which funds us) we ask people to complete a Request for Counseling form (the official requirement) and on Maui we have people complete a short questionnaire to help both you and me prepare, and in the case what you are looking for is not what we can provide, to make a referral.
