Anyway, just wondering if it is beneficial in terms of potential links, traffic, SEO, to be active on both blogger and wordpress? And if I pick just one, should I cancel the other so it doesn't appear "inactive"?

I try to stick to as few sites/blogs as possible. It's way too easy to get overwhelmed.

Also, having one highly active, resourceful, authoritative site/blog is better than having lots of smaller sites/blogs in the long run IMO.

'Authoritative Site' - can u elaborate a little? I am going at the weight-loss niche but as that is too general I would like to link to other smaller product blogs all related to weight-loss. My content would all be contained on my main Authority site. Is this what you mean and am I in the right ballpark?

I have tried to subscribe to this thread and when I click on the Thread Tools it has 'UNSUBSCRIBE from this thread' and not the SUBSCRIBE option. I never did subscribe, so am I somehow automatically subscribed when I post a reply?
According to the FAQ's I have to physically subscribe to a thread when I am in it. So, how do I do that without the option to do so?
