I am querying this forum to see if there is a process that can be used to filter out email addresses that would return a bounce or bad email status. My issue is that our email marketing database is producing borderline high bounces, and our ESP has suspended the account. Is there someway to rig up a php install to send test emails? If I went through that, wouldn't it just make sense to send out the emails from PHP, providing the messages would get through spam filters?

Hi,
It seems a little strange that your ESP has suspended your account for this reason. Most respectable ESP's have an algorithm set up to determine address that bounce. You should also be able to see from the reporting section of the ESP exactly what addresses bounced, and if need be manually unsubscribe them. Failing this, you can search Google for 'email validation tools' which will validate your list for you and separate all the addresses that are hard bouncing. Hope this helps.
