Default Question on Keyword Research.

Hi,

I was wondering when researching keywords, how many searches per day or per month is not worth making a website for, even if i can get to the number one spot on google for that keyword.

I am currently using seo book and googles adword keyword tools, any advice would be great.

Many Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew:
I use Market Samurai for my keyword research and my rule of thumb is 60-80 searches a day minimum from all search engines. It's important to keep in mind if the product or service you're trying to sell is a high ticket item, you can feel good about reducing the number of searches per day.
