Greetings!

It's been suggested that one should use a different version of Articles used for Directories on your website.

Any experience one way or another on this and what kind of impact it actually has?

And if you do have to change it, does that mean everything - title, keywords, body? It would be nice to be able to add links in the body.

The only thing I change when adding an article to my website is to include all the links I want. I also add my call to action to my article ... because I don't use an author block on my article on my site.

Agree with Bod Summer, when you post on your site, you can including any text links as you want.
I myself also include images with <alt>and some <b><i> tags for articles on my own webs.
