Default Two Quick Questions for a Newbie

Hey guys,

Thanks for all your helpful posts so far. I had actually two quick questions about article marketing. Being new to the game, I find myself getting confused.

Question #1 - I read an article in this forum (the article was awesome by the way) stating you should wait three weeks after you submit an article to directories before submitting another one. I feel like that number is a bit arbitrary. Does anyone know if this is accurate? I know it can send up a red flag with Google if you develop back links too quickly but once every three weeks seems a bit too slow if you ask me. What does everyone recommend?

Question #2 - What is the value (if any) of using article rewriting software to submit unique versions of your article to multiple directories. Is it worth the effort to try and do this or is it all the same to just submit the same version to each one?

Appreciate your help in advance. This is one of the best forums I've ever run across.

Two great questions and these are my opinions based on my experience.
1. When I submit my article to sites like DistributeYourArticle.com and iSnare.com for massive distribution, they both suggest that you don't send more than 2 articles per week max. The reason for this is that many if not most article sites will not accept more than 2 or 3 articles per week per category per writer. If you write on 4 different categories under two pen names, you could easily write 8-12 articles and not be overdoing it.

2. with respect to article rewriting software, my professional stand on the subject is to stay away from it. Why would you want to do it? What do you think is going to happen if you SPIN an article? I can tell you that most of publishers will ban your account if they see that you've submitted a spun article. And, have you ever read an article that has been automatically spun? A sentence that initially reads " The quick brown fox jumped over the fence." Will turn out to read. The super duper fast slightly dirty colored rodent hurled itself terminated boundary." I'm not kidding.

There is absolutely "No" benefit to spinning an article.

Just my two cents.

First to start off with stop wasting time with lame article directories. Most those distribution services submit you to low level lame blogs and article directories.

True article marketing has nothing at all to do with mass submission of articles. It does have to do with proper format, proper keyword research, and proper use of social media sites that do NOT have all those lame adsense ads. Fact is most of those article directory owners have no idea how to market and thus why you never see listings in the search engines for most.

I have written several articles on the above subject on my forum so I will not go into great detail with a book here...

As far as Spinning, I disagree with the admin and there are many reasons to spin articles. The thing is you should not use junk software or any of that lame {|} stuff. A fully human controlled spinner will produce very readable articles every single time with no editing afterwards.

You spin content for many reasons and here are just a few examples - Is there a technical benefit to spinning your articles

Keep in mind duplicate content penalty is a myth and this is NOT the reason why you spin articles....

Not, they are a waste ... Some claim they will get backlinks by mass submit but how are you getting backlinks from an article directory or blog that is ...

1. Nothing but an adsense farm
2. Not properly marketed by the owner
3. No link juice due to the ads take away any and all link juice
4. Backlinks are worthless in this condition

You need to a real service that owns its own private network of sites that are

1. Marketed properly
2. The owner actually bookmarks your stuff
3. 100% Ad free
4. All link juice is given to you because no way for it to be lost due to ads

You will find such service in my signature...

I have found that just a few article sites cover most of the need. unless it is a very specific subject like eye surgry on a five year old in packastan. What do you think?
