Hey everyone,

I heard that article submissions are more effective if you actually place the article on your site first before submitting them. I just want to know if that's true? I assume others here have had success without doing that.

I can't find any info about this on article marketer.

Hi Ron:
Don't do that. If you're using one of the high end article distribution companies like Article Marketer, they will not distribute your article if they see it on the Internet. The key is to submit your article for distribution first, and then, once it is distributed, upload it to your website.

Yes, they returned my articles few times, but I corrected what they asked for and then it was ok.

To take this a bit further, I did just this. Only thing, my site was new. So who do you think got the credit for the article. The first site that the article went live on. Now, my site, since it was also one of my pages, was duplicate content and never got any juice. It had to be rewritten eventually.

The exception is what was mentioned above, posting it as an article (think reference article) on your site.

Hello Bob, if i submit a same single article wrote by me to 350 difference article directories, will the google think i duplicate the content? I mean 350 article directories have the same article.

No, this is not duplicate content. Duplicate content is when you have identical or similar content on the same website. This is not the case with Article Marketing.
