Hi, I've been doing article marketing for a month now. This is what I do:
When choosing affiliate product I've got 2 suggestion: 1. Sort by gravity (clickbank), choose between 11th-20th product since the first 10 have lots of competition 2. Pick the one that has gravity>30 and pick a few of them I take the 2nd option, am I take the right choice? I've set up a blog, writing a few product review, doing some on page optimization ,and then start writing articles, put in in my blog and submit it in several article directories and social bookmarking sites with link to my blog (I'm doing it manually), currently I only have around 10 articles with my blog ranked around 4million in Alexa and I'm planning to continue this for the next few months and see how it'll doing. Am I doing it right? Or am I missing something here? Please tell me what you guys think, I'll really appreciate it. About on page seo, how do you setup meta and h1 header for each post in your blog? I've tried put it in the template and it showed up the same for all the posts |

Hi Stefan:
What blogging platform are you using? Where are you submitting your articles? What anchor text are you using in your author block? Are you gathering names and email addresses on your blog? Your answers to these questions will help me help you. Aloha, Bob Sommers

Hi Stefan:
Great site. I do have some suggestions for you. To start, please read this blog post. It's about how to optimize your blogger blog. I highly recommend it. Next, let me encourage you to do keyword research on your anchor text. "Diets that work" is a relatively good keyword. It has 1,627 searches every day but it only as an OCI (Commercial Intent to Buy) of 9% which is pretty low. This means that people searching for this term are looking, not buying. "Visit diet tips" has zero searches per day. I would find another keyword phrase. And I would never use the term, "here." It does not serve you. I use Market Samurai for my keyword research and you can use it for free for 12 days. Check it out here. The next thing I would do is watch our free article marketing videos. They will show you how to write an article that gets published and read. Better yet, it will show you how to select the keywords you want to place high in the search engines for. The most important thing you need to do with your article is write a good author block. And finally, if this is not enough, I did create a product that will show you optimize your Blogger blog. It's the Google Blogger Optimization program. With respect to collecting names ... this is a must. It's relatively easy to get people to your site, but it's hard to keep them coming back. I would either add an RSS feed with feedburner, or spend $15/month for an email marketing/auto-responder program. Look at Aweber, iContact or Constant Contact. Hope this helps. If you enjoy the site, please tell your friends about it. Aloha, Bob

I've branding my site with "diets that work" everywhere and optimize the page for that keyword, do you think it's wise to change it now?
Btw, I've watched all your video regarding article marketing and it's really helpful thx |

I'm glad you enjoyed the videos.
You can focus on more than one term at a time and "diets that work" is by far the best of the three. I would keep on it but consider targeting other strong keywords too. I would not change the pages I've optimized for that term, but would consider creating other pages with stronger OCI (Commercial Intent to Buy) keyword phrases too. Aloha, Bob
