One of the most intimidating situations speakers find themselves in is having to deal with a difficult participant. It is the primary reason the majority of people are not willing to speak ... and that is unfortunate.

Knowing how to handle a difficult audience participant is a skill that can actually enhance your presentation and make you a superstar in the minds and hearts of your listeners.

You may never encounter a difficult participant, but if you do, this is definitely a skill you'll want to have.

Excellent! Haven't we all dealt with these interesting characters. lol I really like how you mention to NOT use sarcasm to combat this - I've seen way too many presenters utilize that "technique" and not to their advantage.
Your resolution is one I am fully on board with and it truly works!
