This just came out today on the Google AdSense blog
AdSense for search has worked out very well for RecognizedExpert as well as several other content heavy sites I work on. Google tends to do a better job at searching (obviously ) than any out of the box search features included with most websites. But, should site owners use their own search boxes? Quote:

If you've added an AdSense for search box to your page, you're probably
aware of the relevant search results it provides your users. That being said, a few publishers have asked us if it’s a violation of our program policies to perform searches in their own AdSense for search boxes. The short answer is no, this activity is not explicitly prohibited by our program policies. --------------------- Nikimathew buzz marketing |
