Hi Kaysweet, welcome to the Recognized Expert!

To add a new page/post in blogger you need to go to your Blogger dashboard (http://www.blogger.com/ and make sure you are logged in), then click "New Post" and when you hit Submit your new page will be available.

I think I see what your looking to do.

It is possible to convert a Blogger blog into something that functions a bit more like a website, but there are a lot of changes to be made.

Blogs by nature are chronological meaning the newest content will always be first, pushing the older content down. So if you are looking to have a static (non changing) first page and "sub-pages" you will have to tweek a few things.

Check out the Blogger video tutorials final section (scroll to the bottom of Blogger Video Training ) and look for the section entitled: "Converting Your Blog Into A Website." Check to see if that is what you're looking to do.

There is a lot to do, but hopefully that helps. Good luck!

Hi Kay:
I agree with Josh. You can do what you want to do with your blog, but it will take some work. The section on converting your blog into a website will show you what you need to do.

If you have any questions after watching those videos, please ask.

Keyword search: For newer people. Select you primary broad keyword and and go to the free keyword search tool at Google www.Google/select/keywordtoolexternal. Type in your broad word and ask Google to search. Google will bring up many other keywords. Along side the keywords will tell you how many searches for each keyword for that period of time (I think it is monthly, but not sure - haven't used this tool in awhile). Next is the amount of web pages that contain that keyword. This is called supply and demand. The value is their is much more demand than supply. When you see more demand than supply..you may have developed a niche of which you may rank high on. Ranking high on a niche keyword is much better than ranking very low on a broad match word. Your strategy should be do dominate niches for your broad keyword and own as many searches as possible then work your way up the chain to the broad keywords to dominate..this take patients and time, but will win over time.
This is basic and there is much, much more which I will add from time-to-time. In the mean time if you are having problems with basic research or have any questions, let me know.
