It wasn't that we didn't care about winning the World Series, trust me...we hadnt won a world series since 1918..but I understand your frustration. The series with the Yankees swept the media like wildfire. You understand the effect of media more than anyone I know, so please reconsider your feelings toward the Red Sox team. That Championship meant more to the Red Sox fans and Red Sox Nation than anything. That includes the Yankee series, but I must admit it is a great feeling when the yankees lose...
