Default TV Advertising

Buying an ad in a news paper is no big deal, heck, most of us could even put together an audio ad for the radio with no help. But when it comes to television, Google has made it possible to buy commercial time with little or no effort.

Check out Google's TV Ad service: TV Ads - AdWords - Google

Anyone tried this out yet? I would love to hear more about it.

Josh,

I know this is an old thread, but I'm definitely going to look into this a bit on both ends (from a buying perspective) and selling perspective (selling spots on my show).

From what I've read into, it is basically Adwords for television. You bid on impressions. One thing is you have to be ready for some BIG bills or you could be in trouble as national TV advertising racks it up VERY quick.

I'll do some research and get back with you.

Hi
It seems to me that the quality of TV advertising has improved almost to the point where some of it is better than the program it interrupts or am I just sad ? what say you and which do you prefer, comic, informative, and which annoy most ?Will advertising eventually overtake what we now see as 'normal' programs ie adversoaps etc ?

This is an old topic, but each side (where the purchase order), and in terms of sales "beslis'n I watch (my show booths). From what I read is essentially a television AdWords. impression. part of the bill should be ready to problems, such as state and national television advertising is the thing you have to get more speed.

Default TV Advertising

A television advertisement is a span of television programming produced and paid for by an organization that conveys a message. Advertisement revenue provides a significant portion of the funding for most privately owned television networks.

I think Television is the wrong way to catch these people. TV advertising is like a great big drift net - it catches everyone, mostly people you don't want, but you pay to reach them anyway. And a ten second spot won't do anything but empty your bank account.
