I'm still not sure if I'm a fan of being listed in thousands of directories (other than the hand full that are relevant to what my site is about), but I did run down an interesting link to help you find the newest ones.
You can usually find 10-20 new non-reciprocal link directories over on Digital Point: (Solicitations & Announcements Forum) Usually a bunch of "grand opening" type posts. I would still get into the Yahoo Directory if you have the $$ to do so, as well as the Open Directory if you have the patience. |

looks like this has not been answered for some time... Hope you found your answer... It is important to understand the importance of the directory some have there place and others do not.

Good point.
It's just amazing to see how many new `spammy` directories are started each day. ![]() I guess with software like: http://www.freephpdirectoryscript.com/ http://www.phpmydirectory.com http://www.phplinkdirectory.com http://www.esyndicat.com http://www.edirectory.com http://www.wsnlinks.com http://www.phpyellow.com http://www.linkbidscript.com http://www.evoluted.net/community/co...orylisting.php It's not a surprise that there are so many new ones. ![]() I guess it's really just a matter of getting into the directories that "count." |
