I think we should must be sure Before starting email marketing campaign, you should clearly understand the difference between opt-in email marketing and spam. If you fail to do that, you may hurt your business and reputation for a long time.

Spam is very unethical way of internet marketing. Simply stated, it means sending promotional e-mail messages to people who didn't ask that. If you try to spam, you may be banned by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and never be able to send messages from your email account again.

A much better method is Contrary to spam it is permission based, which means that people have agreed to receive emails from you. Thus it's a better way way to send a message to a list of email addresses, that are interested in your offer.

There are several ways people can acquire an email list.

1. Spend a lot of time & effort to build a list and hopefully the list would accumulate overtime.

2. Buy an instant gratification email list. By doing this, it would save you a lot of time and you can make money right away.
