Default Article #4 - Matching Keyword Density Pages Up w/Directories

Article #4 - Matching Keyword Density Pages Up w/Directories

We came up with a way of doing massive, custom sets of page checks by Keyword Density, and laying all the info out in Excel. Pretty cool stuff; we're working up tools like this and more video training for those interested. This stuff really makes a whale of a difference to your website visitor count...

So now that you have the Keyword Densities of each of your Webpages Optimized and Outlined, then Match the most important Deep-Link Page you have with that Webpage, by the closest Keyword-Density Checks. As a matter of fact... if you like writing up pages for your Website, and getting those pages to 'ring true' for IB Links... you can go on a powerful run by working just this Strategy alone:

a) Work up a list of keywords for your Website.

b) Get the Keyword Search Volumes for each. Sort by these.

c) Do Keyword Density Checks (and Titles, Meta Descriptions (don't bother with Meta Keywords as far as Google is concerned; just list your Keyword Density Words here and that's it), Extension Page Naming Conventions, etc) on your Individual Webpages.

d) Tweak those Webpages that have Potential Search Opportunities (close to Keyword-Rich on Highly-Searched Keywords).

e) Find Directories by doing searches for those highly-searched keywords and related searches that bring up Directories (such as: cataract eyedrops directory) where the original idea is 'cataract eyedrops' - as being the keyword density on your own Webpage - and you added directory to get some to appear... or you could add anything else for other IB opportunities, such as: forum, boards, etc.

f) Note that the Results you get on Google for these searches ARE pages that ARE indexed by Google (because you just searched Google to get them). You can get yourself on them knowing that you're moving in the right direction.

g) So go find out how to get on those listings... the exact pages you want, as many as you find make sense... and BE SURE to list your most related keyword-density pages there as often as you can deep-link your webpages (not just the homepage of your site, which Google doesn't care about any more than each page that relates to any exact search; every page of your website is equal in Google's eyes, as far as results go). This way, you make the matches as exact as possible.

And THAT is about the closest you can get to the tightest strategy for getting top ranking on organic results from IB listings that... don't really have to have any visitors at all.
Remember: *anything 'hard to do' means that Your Top Competitors probably aren't doing it... or doing it well... or doing enough of it.* So if you do more than they do (and more 'right' than they do), then you're going to eventually overtake them on the front page of major keyword searches. Let 'em wonder how the heck you did it...

I was watching TireRack's Alexa Rank (they have sold wheels to as many as 1 in every 4 family cars across the entire nation before - mainly from their website ranking. Tires sold from a website... imagine that whenever you think your own stuff might be hard to sell).

Anyway, I noted this bit: their Alexa Rank had dropped harder and harder recently. At the time, they had 983 IB links. Then, all of a sudden, their rank started to go up again. I checked... they had dropped their AdWord advertising and other above-the-line advertising by around half, but they had worked to get up to just over 1500 IB links - that's half over what they had before. (Yes, IB links matter, but *you have to be picky!* TireRack puts their efforts into getting this sort of result - even through affiliates - because it works.)

Finally, make sure you have Google Analytics installed on your website. That way, Google can actually 'tell' when folks click onto your site from other websites that are not Google-controlled and for folks who visit you, who do not have the Google Toolbar installed (Google needs to know that you have popularity, if you want them to see your popularity).

Google would know if folks visit your website because of AdWords clicks. Google would know if folks visit your website because of content network clicks. But Google can't see if others visit your website FROM sites that have Analytics. The only software that can see where folks are GOING TO NEXT would be spyware or similar 'your consent must be given' software, toolbars, etc.

So make sure Analytics is installed on your website before you go around posting IB links (or while you do just that).

Hopefully you found this information useful!

Ok... I hope this layout had a fresh angle for you... Please feel free to comment, disagree, agree, or simply chime away.
