Gill Wagner is on a quest. His mission is to make it impossible for salesdrips to earn a living, and by golly, I think he's going to do it.

To start, a salesdrip is a person who engages in promoting and selling goods or services by lying to, bullying, cheating or manipulating prospects. According to Gill, this behavior has to stop. Salesdrips are destroying the credibility of every salesperson on the planet.

Listen to Gill Wagner, the author of Honest Selling, talk about the five top reasons you should never, ever lie to a prospect ... ever. If you've been applying old school manipulative sales techniques, stop it. You're hurting your reputation and your income.

And for those of you who are honest salespeople, you may be coming across as manipulative without knowing it. Take a few minutes and listen to Gill identify the most common mistakes honest salespeople make and how to fix them.

Gill's done it again! His above board approach to selling (and buying) is deceptively simple, but it not only works it makes the world a better place. Not only do we not have to lie, we don't have to be anyone but ourselves. The key is in being aware of how people respond best, not only to our product or service, but to our approach. I find that most people respond most positively to someone who is sincere, regardless of their style. It isn't technique that sells, it's people, and the more real the people are the better their sales will be.
