Digg vs Stumbleupon

Posted 08-01-2008 at 11:39 PM by Josh Sommers
Social Network Traffic

So I was stumbling through some websites (can you tell this post may be a little bit biased? ) and I stumbled across: Social Networking: Digg vs. StumbleUpon | Best Rank Blog

DIGG
I find that the results are very similar for my own websites. Digg users tend to leave almost immediately (within 12 seconds), and rarely visit other pages on the site. (Though there is usually more discussion about my pages within the Digg network)
StumbleUpon
StumbleUpon users not only stay longer, they tend to view other pages on the website and tend to convert to members at a higher rate.
(I'm basing this off of roughly 20,000 recent Digg hits, and 42,000 Stumble hits)

Anyway, just thought you all may find that post interesting!

Drop me a line if you're a StumbleUpon user!
