A Healthy mini-vacation from Stress

In these difficult economic times we all need to remember to relax
and not allow ourselves to just focus on the negative side of the pond in which we are all swimming.
The Japanese have the "Onsen", or hot bath, which is deeply imbedded in their culture. Relaxing in the hot tub is a wonderful way to wash away the stresses of life. (and Idon't mean with soap) I just read "Getting Wet" - Adventures in the Japanese Bath, by Eric Talmadge, a very enjoyable book that was a gift from one of my favorite massage therapists. This well written book is a good primer for the Relaxing in the Waters experience.
Combining a soak in the hot tub in a peaceful environment, including the sound of water and relaxing music, with a relaxing massage is guaranteed to transport you to a state of mind where happiness is alive and well
. . .
One need not go to Japan for such an experience for such places can be found in other places, like Maui. Search and ye shall find.
Aloha from Maui
