Some checking on your competition is important but recognize that comparing creates things of like kind. Confidence to be yourself and see your vision through is what makes great leaders.

Leaders are the ones looking forward, innovating and turning their competitors into road kill. Take Quicken Loans, Starbucks, WalMart, Costco and so forth.
