Unique Value Proposition - Crucial to Your Success

Also called a unique selling proposition it really is what tells the world what makes you unique or lets face it - better. It also crystallizes your offering to the world for you. The cool thing here is you give the public a better idea of what you are up to and at the same time you give your often anxious, mis-guided, entrepreneurial mind a notion of what the heck you're up to. I know this because it happened to me. Though I am not completely satisfied with my UVP yet, I am closer. I have been wrestling for nearly 2 years to really capture the essence of what I do in a simple sentence. Not a run on sentence a simple sentence. I only offer mine up to help you with yours.
As a business launch coach
my UVP is:
I help entrepreneurs get off to a fast and stable start.
Another USP or UVP I like but it's just too long and leaves too much to the imagination is -
Helping entrepreneurs make their next business as easy as their first.
The "first" is the lemonade stand so many of us had as kids.
The truth is, my job as a business coach
is really: Helping new entrepreneurs think like seasoned world class mavericks.
This really is more important to your marketing than anything else you can do. It should be the first of many things you consider as you work through a strategic plan. Like a website you should always look at it for improvement as you can see I am still doing after 2 years. Sometimes a different UVP fits best for different situations.
