How close fisted are you living your life? It becomes so apparent to me that living life in an anxious state does nothing to grow me on any plane. Not spiritually, cognitively, physically or financially.

It is rare I can see this state. My wife will every once in a while have to remind me that I am closing in (obsessing is another word) on my business to a point that it, us and I are suffering. As she'll remind me nothing grows when you live life like that. Instead everything suffocates.

Have you paid attention to your breathing? Have you relaxed your face muscles? The best cue for me, other than my wife, to recognize I am being this way is to feel my tension. This tension is not just in me, I send it off to those around me too when I am like this.

Anyway, to wrap this up take time to reflect on how non-productive being stressed and obsessive is. In 50 years who will give a flyin' hoot about that extra site you built?

Give it up to God... his shoulders are way bigger than yours.
