Success - Singularity, White Noise Etc.

It dawned on me for the umpteenth time that launching a business and succeeding don't always go hand in hand but successful businesses do share some common qualities. Specifically I am addressing wildly successful businesses, ideas or people.
So what precipitated my desire to write about it was the whole idea behind recognized expert. It's a relatively simple concept to interview people and play their message for the general public. It is this simplicity that makes it so successful. There aren't 20 different things going on here. You're not pushing interviews and products and vitamins. It's just a very nice and simple uncluttered user experience. Like a box of Cheerios - they always taste exactly the same and I know right where to get them. Above everything else it is nichey - one thing, one idea and again a singular mission.
Anyway, I just wanted to put to words this thought that has been swirling in my head for decades.
