This is one of my favorite slide show programs from RockYou.com. I like the technique and having the ability to choose to show slides either with our without music.
This is a slide show of my family and friends at the beach on Fathers Day. It’s a tradition. It’s also a simple way for you to get to meet my family. Have you considered adding a slide show to your website that has nothing to do with your business … but everything to do with the person who owns the business? Just an idea.
This is a new service from Animoto that is a big hit with the kids. It’s much more like a photo video than a photo slide show. I also like the fact that you can set it so that the slide show and music don’t start on-load. The viewer has to click the start button first.
I also like the fact that when you click on the photo it does not automatically take you to Animoto’s site. You will however be taken to their site if you click on their logo.
This is one of my favorite slide show programs from Slide.com. I really like the style, but like most of the slide show sites your slides must include the sites name and a link back to their service. If you can put up with the self-promotion, this is a good alternative. Sign-up for our Marketing Your Blog Newsletter and learn some amazing ways of adding value to your blog or website.
I love this software. It produces great flash slides without the advertising that accompanies all the free slide show software. You can purchase the software from Vertical Moon for either Windows or the Mac for $69.
If you just want a slide show for your site without having to purchase or learn the software, we can create a slide show with up to 20 photos for just $80.
If making professional slide shows is something you want to do, you can purchase the software from Vertical Moon and learn how to use it from our “SWF ‘n Slide Pro video training program” which will be available on November 1 for $49.
FlipTrack has the most choices for your slide show. You can include over 100 songs, slide transitions, skins, backgrounds, captions, styles and more. But, like all the free slide show software you must put up with the accompanying ads. This is my favorite of the free software
This is the free slide show software from Google Picasa. It is very simple in that it only allows you to make a slide show similar to what you see here. The other slide show sites including Photobucket.com, FlipTrack.com and Slide.com offer many more options, but they also carry more advertising. I like Picasa for its simplicity and its subtle advertising Sign-up for our Marketing Your Blog Newsletter and learn some amazing ways of adding value to your blog or website.
If you’re viewing this on FireFox or Safari, you can play the guitar by dragging your mouse over the guitar strings.
This is a very unique slide show offered by Photobucket. As with most of the software we suggest it is free and therefore comes with ads surrounding the slides. I would not suggest paying the $3/month or $25 year to have all of your slides appear without ads. PhotoBucket does not consider their logo an ad and it will appear on all of your slide shows. If you don’t mind paying extra to promote PhotoBucket on your slide show, this is what you can expect.
Along with the advertising, the other problem with all the free slide show sites is that when you click on a photo, it opens a new window taking you to the slide show website. I find this disturbing. It may be OK for a blog, but not for a professional website. Just my opinion.
